Prior to purchasing Prestige Leisure Tours, he owned and directed a highly successful building products company known as Statewide Building Products.

During his collegiate career, Rainier earned an Advanced Diploma in Business Management, a Diploma in Policing, Advanced Driving Certification, Workplace Assessor Certification, and numerous other certifications. He serves as Treasurer on the School Board of the John Calvin School. Mr. Kroeze is also a member of Wine Tasmania, Tamar Valley Wine Route, and the Launceston Tamar Valley Tourism Association.
