The 2011 Phuket International Soccer 7s tournament will be taking place at the Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Club next month.

PHUKET, THAILAND, October 11, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Football fans will be able to witness some keenly-contested matches in Phuket next month when the 2011 Phuket International Soccer 7s tournament is held.
 
The annual competition will run on November 26th and 27th this year and will see players from around the world travelling to the area to take part in one of the largest seven-a-side football tournaments in Asia.
 
In 2011, organisers will once again be splitting the competition into two separate events, with the original Phuket International Soccer 7s in November to be followed by the Andaman International Soccer 7s in December.
 
With no prize money at stake, competitors in the International Soccer 7s will take part simply for the love of playing, with more than 70 teams from 17 countries participating in last year's events, including several ex-professional players.
 
Each match will last 15 minutes, with rolling substitutions and no offside rules to be in place.
 
In addition to the games themselves, a number of parties are to be held at local venues to allow visitors to experience the regional nightlife and cuisine.
