BOURNEMOUTH, ENGLAND, September 15, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Award-winning comedian Russell Kane is bringing his Manscaping tour to Bournemouth towards the end of next month.

The funnyman rose to prominence after coming first in the Laughing Horse New Act of The Year prize in 2004 and finishing as runner-up in So You Think You're Funny 12 months later.

He has appeared on and fronted several TV shows, including Big Brother's Big Mouth, Live at the Apollo and Freak Like Me.

In his latest show, Kane explores the "ridiculous state" of modern masculinity, the tour promoter explained in a statement.

The comic is set to take the stage at Bournemouth's Pavilion Ballroom on Tuesday October 25th, with proceedings scheduled to get underway at 20:00 BST. Tickets for the gig are priced at GBP17.50.

Gig-goers can reach the venue via a ten-minute taxi ride from Bournemouth Station.

Kane's Bournemouth date will be one of his final shows before he takes a month off from his extensive Manscaping tour, which began on September 11th and is not due to finish until Friday March 23rd 2012.
