BILBAO, SPAIN, August 04, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A new comedy written by Jordi Galceran is to be performed at Bilbao's Euskalduna Conference Centre and Hall this summer.
 
Running from August 25th to September 4th, the show will boast the acting talents of Amparo Larranaga and Jose Luis Gil, alongside a supporting cast that includes Kira Miro, Mauro Muniz Urquiza and Francesc Albiol.
 
While Galceran has laid on plenty of hilarious moments in his script, the production does not shy away from addressing serious issues such as political corruption.
 
In a statement, the organisers said: "Fuga is a classic comedy where there's more than meets the eye and everybody deceives each other. Packed with surprises and unfolding at a very rapid pace, the play offers a convoluted plot that ends in a completely unexpected manner."
 
Galceran is a Catalan playwright who has won a series of accolades, such as the Ignasi Iglesias prize and Born Theatre Award.
 
Tickets cost EUR25 (GBP21.80), with performances due to begin at 20:00 local time daily, with later showings scheduled on Saturday and Sunday.
