Hotels-London.co.uk - Disabled Arts Festival Liberty Comes to the South Bank
Deaf and disabled artists showcase their work across London.

LONDON, ENGLAND, August 02, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On September 3rd, the Southbank Centre and the National Theatre will host performances of new work by a fantastic line up of disabled artists.

Musicians, singers, dancers and circus performers will take to the stage in the Royal Festival Hall's Clore Ballroom and on Theatre Square outside the National Theatre to impress the watching crowds.

Highlights in the Ballroom include soprano Victoria Oruwari, stand up comedian Kiruna Stamell and French performer Juggle Deaf, while the Square features acts such as Deaf Men Dancing with Rachel Gadsden and Fittings Multimedia Arts.

Naturally, the festival is designed to be as accessible as possible to both disabled and non-disabled audience members, with all welcome to attend the celebrations in the run up to the 60th anniversary of the illustrious Festival of Britain.
